The Chartered Institute of Logistics International has an International Certificate in Logistics Management available worldwide through selected training providers. In Australia the Transport and Logistics Centre (TALC) has teamed up with the Australian institute of Management in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory to offer a combined qualification unique in logistics.

AIM NSW and TALC have “mapped” the CILT International Certificate to a Certificate IV in Frontline Management under the Australian Training Qualifications Framework (ATQF). This means that a successful candidate for the CILT Certificate will also be awarded a Certificate IV in Frontline Management – two qualifications for the price of one! The latter qualification is recognised nationally as a solid basis for a management career in transport and logistics, while the former international certificate is recognised in 33 countries via the CILT National Sections in those countries.

It also means that employers and employees will be entitled to apply for an Australian Government rebate under the traineeships programmes open to all Australian candidates. The cost of the course will be covered by the rebate.

The course will be offered as a combination of classroom and distance learning and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a possibility.
